How do I sign up for Roda Magazine's newsletter?

You can sign up for Roda Magazine's newsletter at the top of the right column.


Why sign up for the newsletter?

Exclusive to newsletter subscribers, Roda Magazine partners with some amazing event coordinators and is able to offer free or discounted tickets to performances and after parties.  In the past, we have partnered with The Reel Brazil Film Festival, Dance Brazil, and The World Music Institute.  For the time being, we will not be sending out weekly newsletters, but will be passing along any partnership promotions.  We will not spam you.


How do I submit an event?

You can submit an event by filling out the form here. You must be logged into your account in order to submit an event.  That way, you'll both get credit for the event and be able to edit / update it in the future.


How do I submit a news item?

If you have exciting news or have heard exciting news that relates to capoeira or capoeiristas, please let us know here. Please include links and a description so we can verify the information before proceeding.


What is considered news?

Literally anything that would be of interest to the capoeira community. This includes videos, interviews, articles, essays, performance reviews, competition results, and intelligent thought. This does not have to be content generated by you.
