Roda Magazine is excited to announce that, starting today, we will have the pleasure of working with Dr. Brian "Cebolinha" Lin, a wonderful doctor and incredible Capoeirista.  He will be writing the Doctor Capoeira column which is starting out as an eight article series on the evaluation, management, and rehabilitation of common Capoeira injuries.  It's going to be awesome (and from what we've read, full of technical goodness)!  Here's a little bit about Brian:

BrianBrian Lin, MD, FAAEM, is a Board-Certified Emergency Physician.  He practices Emergency Medicine at Kaiser Permanente, San Francisco.  He is an Assistant Clinical Professor with the Department of Emergency Medicine at UC San Francisco.  In Capoeira circles he goes by the apelido Cebolinha.  Brian is an estagiario a graduado (Blue/Red Cord) with Grupo Capoeira Brasil, San Francisco, and has trained Capoeira since 2001.  He currently trains under Profesor Aranha, supervised by Mestre Cabeca.

Remember what Fonzie was like? Cool. That's how we're gonna be -- cool. Critical is fine, but if you're rude, we'll delete your stuff. Have fun and thanks for adding to the conversation!
